What Our Goalkeeper Training Covers

EvoGK sessions are designed around the specific demands of the goalkeeper position, helping players develop their technique, movement, decision-making and confidence.

Training can cover handling, shot-stopping, diving, positioning, footwork and distribution, with coaching adapted to the goalkeeper’s age, experience and stage of development.

What should I bring to goalkeeper training?

Goalkeepers should arrive with suitable training clothing, goalkeeper gloves, appropriate footwear and anything else specified on the individual session information. You can also shop EvoGK goalkeeper gloves, training wear and equipment online before your session.

Football camps often involve different positions but no necessarily focusing much on a gaolies, this was purely for goalkeepers only and my son said it was nice to be around other kids who understood how complex this position is and shared same passion.

We will definitely book again!

Wednesday was the first time EvoGK held a camp in Whitehaven and it went absolutely brilliant everything from the coaches, Eric and the facility were spot on. Plenty of facilities to top up water bottles and also facilities to buy soft drinks and snacks if required. Thursday and Friday was held in the Beacon of Light Sunderland and he has attended these before and as usual it was absolutely brilliant.
All camps that are ran by James and the team at EvoGK are well planned, organised and executed.
I would recommend James and EvoGK to anyone who is wanting goalkeeper training/coaching

What an experience my son had today, when I first contacted James at EvoGk I didn't think it was possible to get EvoGK to hold their 1st ever camp in Cumbria and the 1st GK camp in Cumbria ever for any provider, but James made it happen and with doing that all the kids showed EvoGK the amount of talent that Cumbria has.

We travel from London to attend every year and the long journey is definitely always worth it. Our daughter spends her time at the camp learning from some incredibly experienced coaches, developing new skills, building her confidence and challenging herself every step of the way.
The camp is always so well organised, everyone is extremely friendly and we feel that every coach goes above and beyond to make sure every single girl is happy and getting the most out of the experience.
It has also been great to see our daughter form some lovely friendships, all the girls were so supportive and encouraging of each other all the time, it was great to watch her being surrounded by other goalkeepers who understand the hard work, dedication and love for the position! She was smiling the whole time. Our daughter finished another camp with lots of things to work on in her training, more confidence and even better memories. Thank you to all the coaches and organisers for another brilliant camp, everyone made it such a fun and supportive environment and our daughter has come away happy, inspired and already looking forward to the next one!
